Code
ROCLL
Status
Formal (NAM & RGD 1980). Amended (Van Adrichem Boogaert & Kouwe 1994).
Lithological description

Depositional setting

Playa lake to mudflat.

Definition of lower boundary

Unconformably on the grey coal measures or orange-red, nodular claystones of the Limburg Group. In some instances (e.g. well N04-01) a thin Lower Slochteren Member is found at the base of the member.
