Sequence of white to light-grey, fine- to medium-grained sandstones alternating with siltstones and claystones, and traces of coaly matter.

Depositional setting

Lower-coastal-plain to fluvial-plain setting, with marine influences.

Definition of lower boundary

Conformably overlies claystones of the Fourteens Claystone Member.

Definition of upper boundary

Conformably overlain by the claystones of the Driehuis Mottled Claystone Member, or it is unconformably overlain by younger sediments.
