Definition The Z3 Anhydrite-Carbonate Member is proposed for those cases where the combined carbonate and anhydrite units of the Z3 (Leine) Formation are clearly distinguishable from the over- and underlying units, but cannot be differentiated owing to the anhydrite intercalations in the carbonate and carbonate intercalations in the anhydrite.
