DefinitionThis unit is developed in the central and eastern parts of the Netherlands and the western offshore as a dololmite-marl alternation with a distinct dolomite interval at its base, which is the equivalent of the Germanic "Trochitenkalk". This interval is very suitable for regional correlations. In the northern offshore, the member consists of an alternation of clayston and dolomites.
