Definition This member consists of a red-brown, anhydritic, dolomitic or sandy clay-/siltstone succession. Towards the fringe area of the basin it passes laterally into the Upper Röt Fringe Claystone Member, the R�ringe Sandstone Member, and the Lower Röt Fringe Claystone Member. Basinwards, the Upper Röt Evaporite Member divides the member into the Intermediate Röt Claystone Member and the Upper Röt Claystone Member.
