Definition The base if this member is marked by a thin anhydrite, followed by a massive halite, which is capped again by a relatively thin anhydrite. Up to four subcycles can be recognised in the halite by the occurrence of claystone and anhydrite beds. Towards the basin margin, only this evaporite member can be recognised (e.g. in well K17-01, interval 1709 -1761 m below rt.).
