Definition This unit consists of a homogeneous, slightly silty, anhydritic claystone sequence. It is very suitable for regional correlations because of its characteristic expression on wireline logs (constant, high gamma-ray interval). In the western offshore, it grades into the Upper Detfurth Sandstone Member in the basin-fringe area.
